With the Sun in Scorpio and the 1st house, you focus on yourself. Your are more quiet and brooding, are more self-confidence. You want more attention and interest from others but you won't ask for it, and when it is given to you you still tend to brood.  You have an outlook on life that can be described as more bold and you're more willing to take risks.  This is a good time to experiment with your look or style by changing your hairstyle or your manner of dress.  This is also a good time for you to try new things in general.

Another thing to look at would be the aspects that the Sun in 0° Scorpio makes to other planet and points in your chart. For example, in my chart the Sun in 0° Scorpio is making an applying conjunction to my Ascendant at 5° Scorpio.  If the Sun is conjunct the Ascendant (myself) it is also opposite the Descendent (others), you put more focus on yourself and your own needs, wants, and desires and this can sometimes be at the expense of others. This aspect also accentuates the theme of beginnings so there is a strong likelihood that a new beginning of some kind will be initiated when the transit Sun is conjunct the natal Ascendant.

A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon occupy the same degree of opposite signs of the Zodiac. As you can see from the above chart the Sun is at 28° Virgo and the Moon is at 8° Pisces making this a Full Moon.

The Big Picture

Pisces is about what we hide from either ourselves or others. It is associated with the need to escape, to get away, to be introspective and nurture our own spirits. On the flip side, Virgo is about our routines, our responsibilities and service to others.

When the Full Moon is in Pisces, subconscious issues are more acute and we can no longer ignore or deny them. We are moved to confront and heal our subconscious issues, emotional baggage, and psychic trauma.  This is usually a time of introspection, meditation, and inner reflection.  Generally we have less energy than normal and our inner issues may grab at our attention through our dreams. For this reason, sleep may be less peaceful than usual as well.

With the Sun in Virgo, there's an equal and opposite energy at play here where others may come to you for some form of help. You may be called upon to put the needs of others above your own needs and you just don't have the energy or inclination to do so. This is a pattern of energy that we will see play out on a grand scale in the news, politics, and across social media but also in the lives of our friends, family, and ourselves.

The Personal Touch

To better understand how the Full Moon in Pisces will affect you, you need to look at the natal houses which Pisces and Virgo occupy in your birth chart. For example, in my own chart Pisces is in the 5th House while Virgo is in the 11th.  Whereas the 5th house rules personal pursuits, usually creative in nature; the 11th house is about coming together with others to achieve a goal that is for the benefit of the world at large, such as a social or humanitarian cause. So for me the conflict will present itself as a desire to pursue personal creative projects vs the desire to do something for the greater good.

I would also look at the aspect the full moon is making to my natal chart.  At quick look my natal chart shows that the Full Moon in 28° Pisces is separating an opposition to my Natal Sun at 22° Virgo. Under this aspect, thoughts and feelings can be more at odds with each other. It is difficult for you to find a balance between what you feel you want and what you think you want; between personal needs and professional ones. Seeking help or advice from others is pointless as you don't feel their support. You could be attracted to someone unlike your usual type. While this can be exciting, it can also be disruptive and unstable.

Libra is cardinal sign and cardinal signs herald the beginning of a new season. When the Sun enters Libra it signals the beginning of Autumn. The end of summer also heralds "cuffing season", a time when people prefer to in a serious relationship rather than free and independent. This is owing to the longer nights, shorter days, and colder weather.

Libra rules relationships so it is no wonder that when the Sun enters Libra people are generally more interested in relationships of all kinds (love, business, and/or platonic).  People are generally more charming and sociable, they are more willing to compromise in their relationships, they want to improve their relationships and their relationship status. There is also a desire to have more balance between work and play.

When the Sun is in the 12th house is shines a light on what is hidden there and the 12th house is associated with our karma, mental trauma, and emotional baggage. When the Sun is in Libra and the 12th house you find harmony when you examine the hidden parts of the mind with the intention of confronting and healing past trauma and releasing emotional baggage.  As you deal with your own long-standing issues, you may find that being around other people robs you of your energy and strength.  You can be more emotional and sensitive and avoid drawing any attention to yourself.  However, you can also be more compassionate and inclined to support and help others when asked.

Aspects

Aspects, or relationships between planets is another dimension of astrological interpretation that should be considered. For example, let us suppose that you have Jupiter at 2° Aquarius then this would mean that the Sun at 0° Libra is applying a trine to your Natal Jupiter. A trine is a type of soft aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet flows with the energy or urge of another planet. When the Sun trines Jupiter you're more confident and optimistic and our relationships improve. This is a time in which personal and financial opportunities can come to you.

Ruler of the House

Now we look to the ruler of the house. The Sun rules Leo, so the ingress of the Sun in Libra will have an affect on the area of life that that Leo a rules in your Natal, or Birth, Chart. Let us suppose that you have Leo in the 10th house, then this would mean that you also have Libra in the 12th House.  This would be expressed as the ruler of the 10th house in the 12th house; or the activities of the 10th house serve the agenda of the 12th house.

This statement could then be interpreting as reputation, achievement, and the desire for recognition serves solitude, escapism, and meditation. We can then extrapolate on this statement and say something like. Fame brings the opportunity to let go of sorrow and grief but it also brings isolation. You want to hide due to too much exposure. Fame can open the door for you to explore the occult or paranormal. Your best career is one in which you work alone.

Mars represents our drives and Libra rules over relationships of all kinds (business partnerships, friendships, and romantic or sexual relationships). When Mars enters Libra people are generally driven to have more companionship and they are willing to compromise and negotiate to get that commitment. The shadow side of this is that they can be more apt to enter too hastily into relationships and give up more than they will receive in order to have commitment (especially men).

Venus rules Taurus which is 180° from Scorpio therefore Venus is said to be in detriment in Scorpio What this means is that it's power is diminished, it is cut off from it's usual resources and will need to learn how to adapt in order to fulfill its urges. Venus' urge is to love and be loved, to have affection, comfort, and security. Generally speaking when Venus is in Scorpio people are more intense and passionate about romance, sex, sensuality, security, and mysteries. They want these things but have trouble attracting them, they try too hard, they put themselves in vulnerable positions and things may or may not work out for them.

Venus Square Saturn

Venus is applying a square to Saturn. Under this aspect, you may feel more reserved and distant than usual. In matters of love you are more cynical feeling that finding love is too much effort for too little reward.

The first house is all about you: what I want, what I need. With Venus in the First house you want to love, to be loved, to have security, and to experience comfort and luxury. Scorpio adds an intensity to the desire to love and be loved.  You are drawn to anyone who is dark, mysterious, and who has the potential to give you the sense of security that you desire. However, since Venus is in detriment in Scorpio you may also try too hard, you may come across as too needy, too clingy, or too possessive which may cause anyone you direct your attention and interest toward to pull away from you.

In addition to house placement, you will also want to look at any aspects formed between Venus in 0° Scorpio and any other planets in your natal chart. For example. Transit Venus in 0° Scorpio is making a square to my Natal Jupiter in 02° Aquarius.  When Venus is square to Jupiter, you encounter obstacles in  regards to making love grow. For this reason you may compensate by overindulging in food or drink (pleasure of the senses) or buying things that you really don't need or which do not bring the satisfaction that you thought it would.  Laziness can also a result of Venus square Jupiter.
