Spiritual Contracts

Its the day after Christmas and New Year's is less than a week away and many people are beginning to think about their goals and intentions for 2021. For this reason I would like to talk to you today about Spiritual Contracts.

When people hear the words spiritual contract, they may think about selling their soul to the devil at the crossroads or making a pact with a demon in exchange for wealth, fame, or power. However, that is not the type of spiritual contract I am speaking about. If you have ever written a wish on a piece of paper and placed it under a fixed candle or tucked it into a mojo bag along with herbs, roots, and other things --- then you have forged a spiritual contract. This contract would be between you and whatever power or entity you petitioned, be it God, a Saint, a Spirit, Ancestor, your Guardian Angel, or just simply the universe.

When you perform such a ritual, you are saying I am going to follow this prescribed rite (the spell) and I am sacrificing this candle, these herbs, my time, and my energy, and in return this spiritual power will make my wish come to pass. That is a contract.

With that in mind, let us draw up a spiritual contract for our goals and intentions in 2021. If you like, you can set the mood by lighting a candle dressed with a condition oil. Presumably your goals and intentions will over the gambit from money to love so instead of using several different oils you might want to use something generic like Special Oil 21 or Planet Oil (this oil encompasses all the energies of the planets in our solar system).

Next, you will write up your contract. For example

                              SPIRITUAL CONTRACT

This contract is entered into and between _____(name)_______ (an individual, the party of the first part) and __________________  (a spirit, the party of the second part). The term of this agreement shall begin on January 1st, 2021 and shall continue until its termination date of December 31st, 2021. The specific terms of this contract are as follows.

In consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the party of the first part covenants and agrees that it shall [here you will list your goals]

1.
2.
3.

Furthermore, the party of the second part covenants and agrees to the following stipulations.

    1. Offer support and encouragement in the accomplishment of my goals.
    2. Place people and events in my path that will assist me to successfully accomplish my goals.
    3. Guide my thoughts and actions through my dreams, intuition and strong signs.
This contract shall not be modified in any manner unless in writing and signed by both parties. This document and any attachments hereto constitute the entire agreement between these parties. This contract shall be binding upon the parties and shall be enforced under the laws of the universe.

_____________________                        _____________________
Signature                                    Signature
(Party of the First Part)                    (Party of the Second Part)
_____________________                        _____________________

Date                                         Date

You can copy this contract into a word program, edit it as needed and print it out before hand. However, I suggest that you write in your name and list of goals by hand. When you are done, read over your contract (never sign anything without reading it) and when you are satisfied right your name at the bottom right (the party of the first part) and then you can simply sign an X for the party of the second part.

Next you can place your contract under the candle and leave it there until the candle burns out. When the candle is spent, place your contract in a safe place. Personally, I like to press it in my Bible anywhere it states "and this shall come to pass". Remember to periodically take out your contract to review your goals and intentions, keep them fresh in your mind, and track your progress.
