A New Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon both occupy the same degree of the same sign at the same time. As you can see from the chart above both the Sun and Moon are transiting 23° Capricorn making this a new Moon. A New Moon bring new possibilities. When the New Moon is in Capricorn people begin to focus more on their career and they become more ambitious, disciplined, and hard-working.  They may be more concerned with advancing in their chosen profession. They may meet with a boss or mentor for some kind of job performance review with the hopes of more responsibility, more power, and more money. They may also work on their long term goals.
