The ingress of the Sun (I am) in Sagittarius (I know) kicks off Sagittarius Season. When the Sun is in Sagittarius people are more relaxed and open to exploration on an inner as well as an outer level. People are more interested in and receptive of new ideas, new philosophies, new cultures, new people, and new ways of thinking. People thirst for not only new knowledge, but also new experiences.

On a personal note, as the time that the Sun entered Sagittarius and my own second house I was offered the opportunity at my place of work to open a 401K. The idea of starting a 401K at my age was something that I had previously rejected because I felt that I was too old. However, given new information and a new perspective on the topic, I had decided to invest part of my income into the 401K.
