This is owing to the longer nights, shorter days, and colder weather. 

Libra rules relationships so it is no wonder that when the Sun enters Libra people are generally more interested in relationships of all kinds (love, business, and/or platonic).  People are generally more charming and sociable, they are more willing to compromise in their relationships, they want to improve their relationships and their relationship status. There is also a desire to have more balance between work and play.

When the Sun is in Libra and the 12th house you find harmony when you examine the hidden parts of the mind with the intention of confronting and healing past trauma and releasing emotional baggage.  As you deal with your own long-standing issues, you may find that being around other people robs you of your energy and strength.  You can be more emotional and sensitive and avoid drawing any attention to yourself.  However, you can also be more compassionate and inclined to support and help others when asked. 

Aspects 

Aspects, or relationships between planets is another dimension of astrological interpretation that should be considered. For example, let us suppose that you have Jupiter at 2° Aquarius then this would mean that the Sun at 0° Libra is applying a trine to your Natal Jupiter. A trine is a type of soft aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet flows with the energy or urge of another planet. When the Sun trines Jupiter you're more confident and optimistic and our relationships improve. This is a time in which personal and financial opportunities can come to you. 

Ruler of the House 

Now we look to the ruler of the house. The Sun rules Leo, so the ingress of the Sun in Libra will have an affect on the area of life that that Leo a rules in your Natal, or Birth, Chart. Let us suppose that you have Leo in the 10th house, then this would mean that you also have Libra in the 12th House.  This would be expressed as the ruler of the 10th house in the 12th house; or the activities of the 10th house serve the agenda of the 12th house. 

This statement could then be interpreting as reputation, achievement, and the desire for recognition serves solitude, escapism, and meditation. We can then extrapolate on this statement and say something like. Fame brings the opportunity to let go of sorrow and grief but it also brings isolation. You want to hide due to too much exposure. Fame can open the door for you to explore the occult or paranormal. Your best career is one in which you work alone.

Aspects, or relationships between planets, are another dimension of astrological interpretation that should be considered. For example, let us suppose that you have Saturn at 3° Cancer, that would mean that the Transit Sun at 0° Cancer is forming a conjunction to your Natal Saturn at 3° Cancer. A conjunction is a type of aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet blends with the energy or urge of another planet and you can no longer tell them apart. 

While the Sun represents your outer identity, Saturn represents the urge for discipline and structure. When these planets are in conjunction you are more disciplined, use your time more wisely, and are more in control of yourself.  You can be more of a hard worker now but should caution yourself against working too hard or you could suffer burn out. 

Ruler of the House 

The Ruler of the House can also be considered. The Sun rules Leo so they entrance of the Sun into Cancer will have an affect on the area of life that Leo rules in your chart. For example, let us suppose that you have Leo in the 10th house in your Natal Chart, then this would mean that Cancer is your 9th House. This could be expressed as the Ruler of the 10th house in the 9th House. 

To begin our interpretation of we might say that the activities of the 10th House serve the agenda of the 9th House OR "reputation, achievements, and the desire for recognition from others serves higher education, travel and meeting new and different people." We can then extrapolate on this statement by saying something like "you choose a profession that allows you to expand your horizons or which is in alignment with your faith. You may become an authority on a culture, religion or belief different from your own. Having a career or status gives your life meaning."

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and so it deals with beginnings and renewal. The ingress of the Sun into Aries marks the transition from Winter to Spring so this is a great time of beginnings of all kinds.  When the Sun is in Aries, people are generally more bold, restless, and enterprising.  They are more inclined to explore, to be contrary, and to be stubborn. 

How the Sun in Aries Affects You

In order to determine the house that the Sun in Aries is transiting you look at your birth chart and determine what house aligns with Aries. The house where the Sun is transiting is the area of life where you will feel bolder, more energetic, and aggressive. For example.

Your ego is tied up in your work, when you don't meet or exceeds your own expectations you feel bad about yourself. However, when you feel you do a great job you feel really good about yourself. Now is a good time to organize your work space for optimum efficiency as well as to improve your work skills.

Aspects, or relationships between planets, is another dimensions of astrological interpretation that should be considered. In this case we would look at the aspects between the transit Sun in 0° Aries and those planets in your natal chart. 

For example, let us say that you have Saturn in 3° Cancer, which is 93­° away from the Sun at 0° Aries making it a square. A square is a type of aspect in which the energy of one planet is creating tension with the energy or urge of another planet. 

Transit Sun + Square +  Natal Saturn  =  I am creates tension with I achieve. 

With the transit Sun (identity) making a square to Saturn (discipline), you may feel more undisciplined and lack control over yourself. You may feel more insecure and question yourself to the point that you don't feel comfortable making decisions for yourself (especially important ones).  You will need to take steps to overcome feelings of not being "enough". 

Ruler of the House

The Ruler of the House can also be considered. The Sun rules Leo so the house that the Sun occupies in your natal char is said to be ruled by the Sun or the Sun is the ruler of the X house. The ruler of X house will have an affect on the activities of the house that Aries is in in your natal chart. For example, let us say that you have Leo in the 10th house and Aries in the 6th house. This would then be stated as the Ruler of the 10th house (the Sun) in the 6th House (Aries). What this means is that the activities of the 10th house serve the agenda of the 6th house. This in turn, can then be translated as "reputation, achievements and your desire for recognition serves daily habits, routines and health". 

We can then extrapolate on this statement to better understand the meaning of the ruler of the 10th house in the 6th house. You might say that you build up a good reputation by performing well at work. You may become known as a workaholic and bring a high level of professionalism to your job.

The Sun in Pisces (General) 

Pisces is the 12th and last sign of the zodiac, so when the Sun enters Pisces it signals the end of one cycle and the coming beginning of a new cycle ---when the Sun enters Aries. I feel that the ingress of the Sun in Pisces heralds an emotional spring cleaning that precedes the physical one that traditionally occurs in our environment after the Sun enters Aries in late March. 

Our interest turns to things of the spirit and our attention turns inward. We become focused on subconscious issues and immerse ourselves in dealing with our emotional baggage. The Sun in Pisces shines the light on the desire to seek out the truth and to be satisfied with what is found in the darkest corners of our psyches. You may find yourself listening more to your intuition as well as paying more attention to your dreams for signs and omens. Your sensitivity to these subtle energies results in heightened empathy and you exercise more compassion not only in dealing with yourself but also those around you. 

How the Sun in Pisces Affects You

A planet, such as the Sun, describes a specific type of energy. In the case of the Sun it is the energy of self or ego. The sign that it occupies indicates how that energy manifests. Ruler of the House 

What house does the Sun rule in your chart? It's ingress into Pisces also have an effect on the house that is also ruled by Pisces. For example, in my own chart Sun ruled Leo is in the 10th house and Pisces is in my 5th. So,  the ruler of my 10th house is now transiting my 5th house. What this means is that the activities associated with the 10th house will now serve the urges and interests of the 5th house. 

This can be interpreted as "reputation, achievements, and your desire for recognition serves creativity, pleasure, hobbies and children." You can then extrapolate on this statement to form your interpretation. For example you might say: You build a reputation for being flirty. You bring structure to your creative enedeavors.You want to be known for your creative work and expressions. You can make a career out of a hobby now.

The ingress of the Sun (I am) in Sagittarius (I know) kicks off Sagittarius Season. When the Sun is in Sagittarius people are more relaxed and open to exploration on an inner as well as an outer level. People are more interested in and receptive of new ideas, new philosophies, new cultures, new people, and new ways of thinking. People thirst for not only new knowledge, but also new experiences.

The need for sex and intimacy may also be stronger. They may also be somewhat more secretive but demand more transparency from those around them. Their focus may turn to transforming their lives in some way that they consider profound and meaningful.

The Aspects 

Another thing to look at would be the aspects that the Sun in 0° Scorpio makes to other planet and points in your chart. For example, in my chart the Sun in 0° Scorpio is making an applying conjunction to my Ascendant at 5° Scorpio.  If the Sun is conjunct the Ascendant (myself) it is also opposite the Descendent (others), you put more focus on yourself and your own needs, wants, and desires and this can sometimes be at the expense of others. This aspect also accentuates the theme of beginnings so there is a strong likelihood that a new beginning of some kind will be initiated when the transit Sun is conjunct the natal Ascendant.
