A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon occupy the same degress of opposing astrological signs. As you can see from the above Full Moon Chart, the Moon is at 22° Leo and the Moon is 180° away at 22° Aquarius making this a Full Moon. When two planets form an opposition in this manner it creates a division. Two things are being split apart or divided. 

The Big Picture 

Aquarius is associated with groups of like minded individuals. They usually come together for a single purpose which serves the group's interests or agenda and which is greater than that of any one individual. For this reason Aquarius rules over clubs, organizations, friends, groups, and associations. 

On the flipside, Leo is more about the individual. Leo is the dramatic actor who needs to take center stage and get all the attention for themselves. They can be quite territorial!  They are not concerned with the needs of the many (in a general sense here) but rather with their own needs. 

So what we can expect from this Full Moon in Aquarius? Well a divide between the group agenda / needs and the needs of the individual is expected. With the Full Moon in Aquarius friends and associations come under scrutiny and some relationships or associations may come to an end. We can see this play out now with investigators looking into the association between Jeffrey Epstein and other political figures. 

It is interesting to note that our current "President" Donald Trump has Leo rising in his birth chart and he is notorious for putting his needs above those of the country. This is a pattern of energy that we will see play out on a grand scale in the news, politics, and across social media but also in the lives of our friends, family, and ourselves. 

Working with Full Moon in Aquarius Energy

How can we work with this energy? In this case, it may be better to set our personal agendas aside and do what is good for the group. Aquarius energy can be somewhat impersonal, however we can try to be more altruistic and seek to lift others up rather than tearing them down. You can practice Full Moon Aquarius energy in many big and small ways such as signing a petition, donating your time or money to a worthwhile cause, joining a facebook group that interests you (and actually participating in conversations rather than lurking) or starting / joining a club or organization that interest you.  

The Personal Touch  

To better understand how the Full Moon in Aquarius will affect you on an individual level you needs to look at the houses in which Aquarius and Leo fall in your natal chart. For example, in my own chart Aquarius is in the 4th Natal House and Leo is in the 10th.  These two houses are known as the Angular Houses (along with the 1st and 7th) and these are very powerful houses. The fourth house is known as the Imum Coeli (IC) and the tenth house is known as the Midheaven or Medium Coeli (MC). 

Whereas the IC rules over our home and private life, the MC rules over our public life and reputation. For me, there would seem to be a divide between my sense of privacy and what I share with the public (or how I am perceived by the public). With the Full Moon in the 4th house, endings related to the home and family are indicated. This may also be a situation that I would want to keep from the public or to somehow control the flow of information so as the prevent misunderstanding with the public.  

You can go deeper by checking the aspects between the Full Moon in 22° Aquarius and other points in your natal chart. For example, with my Pluto at 21° Libra the Full Moon is making a Trine to Pluto (Libra and Aquarius are 4 signs, or 120°) apart. A trine between the Moon and Pluto can indicate an increase in emotional sensitivity. Since the moon rules over emotions and Pluto is about deep transformation and change I may be able to adapt more easily to major changes going on in my life now. It would also indicate a good time for releasing emotional baggage.

What is Road Opener?

Road Opener is a Hoodoo condition formula designed to both literally and metaphorically smooth the path ahead and open the roads before you to success and good fortune. It is good for clearing away blockages, overcoming delays and setbacks, and starting off on the right foot in regards to new ventures. 

Road Opener comes in many form including a spiritual, or condition, oil (pictured at right), bath salts, incense, sachet powders, and even soap for bathing. 

Road Opener is also the English name for the tropical Abre Camino Bush (a.k.a. Eupatorium villosum) from which Road Opener derives its name and which should be included in any Road Opener Formula.  

How is Road Opener Used ?

There are many ways in which to use Road Opener products, including but not limited to the following:

• the oil may be used to dress a candle, mojo bag, doll baby, or even yourself. 
• the sachet powders may be blown onto a dressed candles, sprinkled in a mojo, or dusted on a letter or even yourself. 
• you can bathe in the bath crystals or wash the head or feet in a road opening spiritual rite. 
• the bath crystals may be included in laundry or added to cleaning products. 

Can Road Opener Be Used with Other Products?

Yes. Let us say that you want to attract a new job but you have not been having good luck. When the Moon is new (ideally) you might want to write a list of things you are looking for in a job and dress this with equal parts Road Opener Oil and Steady Work oil. Then scratch your name on a green candle which you also dress with the oils mentioned. Light the candle and make your prayer or petition for a good job at a fair wage. 

You can then let the candle burn until it is spent, or burn it a few minutes each night until the night of the Full Moon at which time you allow it to burn out completely. 

When Can I Use Road Opener?

My philosophy is that the best time to use Road Opener Products is before there is a nee for them.  With this in mind here are a few times when you potentially might want to use Road Opener Products:

• On New Year's Day 
• On the 1st day of the month 
• On the day of the new moon  
• After a planetary retrograde (the day the planet goes direct) 
• At your annual wishing moon. 
• After a spiritual cleansing, an illness, or a break-up. 
• When ever you feel blocked or unmotivated. 
• At the beginning of any new venture 

For example, as part of my New Year's Day ritual, I typically rise before dawn and engage in a spiritual bath that includes road opener bath salts (or a few drops of the oil). I dress myself with the oil and then set a Road Opener / Attraction Vigil Light at my altar. Under this candle I have a list of goals I want to accomplish in the coming year. When the candle is spent, I place the list in my Bible anywhere it states "and this shall come to pass". 

On the first day of each month, I take out the list to review it and draw a line through any goal which has successfully manifested. I then set the paper under an over turned saucer and burn an orange or yellow Road Opener / Attraction free standing candle on top of the saucer. When that candles is spent, I place the list back in my Bible.

August 2019 Horoscopes

Aries- You're less about responsibilities and more about having fun this month.  Rather than work, you'll spend more time doing things which you find fun, socializing, dating, or working on your hobbies. You're certainly less introverted now and can be more dramatic. You want to be the center of attention and you're willing to go all out to get it. 

Taurus- Unlike the more outgoing Aries, you're more introverted this month. You just want to chill at home either alone or with close friends and family.  This is a good time to work on home improvement by decluttering the house, rearranging or replacing furniture, addressing needed home repairs or slapping a new coat of pain on the walls.  

Gemini- You're a regular chatty Kathy this month strike up conversations with anyone and everyone.  Your mind races with new thoughts and ideas and you're motivated to do a lot of things. However, you don't actually accomplish anything because you spread yourself too thin. .
