Moon in Virgo June 2020

Moon in Virgo

Natural Chart / Whole Houses

Moon in Virgo (General)

When the moon is in Virgo, people are generally more organized and productive. Their emotions are aligned with their work and they get a great deal of satisfaction out of completing their daily tasks and responsibilities. Relationships with co-workers go well now and you seek to bring order where ever you encounter chaos. Generally speaking, people may feel the need to take steps to improve their health in some way.

The house that Virgo occupies in your natal, or birth chart, is the area of life where you will feel the impact of the Moon in Virgo.

  • If your rising sign is Aries, Virgo is your 6th house
  • If your rising sign is Taurus, Virgo is your 5th house
  • If your rising sign is Gemini, Virgo is your 4th house
  • If your rising sign is Cancer, Virgo is your 3rd house.
  • If your rising sign is Leo, Virgo is your 2nd house
  • If your rising sign is Virgo, Virgo is your 1st house.
  • If your rising sign is Libra, Virgo is your 12th house
  • If your rising sign is Scorpio, Virgo is your 11th house
  • If your rising sign is Sagittarius, Virgo is your 10th house
  • If your rising sign is Capricorn, Virgo is your 9th house
  • If your rising sign is Aquarius, Virgo is your 8th house
  • If your rising sign is Pisces, Virgo is your 7th house.

Example

The Moon in Virgo and the 11th House

When the moon is in Virgo and the 11th house you are more critical of the friends, groups, and people that you associate with.  You crave more freedom and more excitement and find that you are attracted to new and different people who can offer you unique experiences.  This is a good time to focus on your hopes and dreams -- either identifying them or begin working towards them.

Aspects

Aspects, or relationships between planets, are another dimensions of astrological interpretation that should be considered. The Moon only stays in each sign for about 2.5 days so any aspects it forms to your natal planets will be short lived. Let us suppose, however, that you have Venus in 02° Scorpio, then this would mean that the transit moon is approaching a sextile to your natal Venus. A sextile is considered a soft, or easy, aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet cooperated with the energy or urge of another planet.

When the transit Moon is sextile to Natal Venus, you're more amorous and people are attracted to your aura of attractiveness.  This is a good time to practice self-care, get your hair done, take a long hot, bubble-bath, have your nails done, etc... You're more social now, you want to see people and do things but more importantly you want to be seen and appreciated! Spending money is okay now, but don't overdo it!

How will the ingress of the Moon in Virgo manifest for you?

Neptune Retrograde 2020

Neptune RX in Pisces
June 23rd, 2020  10:39 PM PST
Whole Houses

Neptune Retrograde in Pisces  (General)

Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces, so it is at home in this sign. It will station retrograde today and will not station direct again until November 29th. Neptune stations retrograde about once a year and it lasts for about 5-6 month each time. Neptune is classified as a generational planet, that is it moves so slowly are generally so subtle as to be unnoticeable -- unless Neptune makes any major aspects to your natal planets. Again, because Neptune moves so slowly any aspects it makes to your natal planets can last for many years, which gives them great importance.

Neptune is the planet of illusions and refinement. When it is moving direct, Neptune can make it seem like we are looking at everything through a fog or as if underwater. However, when Neptune stations retrograde those illusions are shattered and we begin to see things as they really are not as we wish them to be nor as others would have us believe.

The house where Pisces falls in your natal-chart represents the area of life where Neptune in Pisces will be felt.

  • If your rising sign is Aries, Pisces is your 12th House.
  • If your rising sign is Taurus, Pisces is your 11th House.
  • If your rising sign is Gemini, Pisces is your 10th House.
  • If your rising sign is Cancer, Pisces is your 9th House.
  • If your rising sign is Leo, Pisces is your 8th House.
  • If your rising sign is Virgo, Pisces is your 7th House.
  • If your rising sign is Libra, Pisces is your 6th House.
  • If your rising sign is Scorpio, Pisces is your 5th House.
  • If your rising sign is Sagittarius, Pisces is your 4th House.
  • If your rising sign is Capricorn, Pisces is your 3rd House.
  • If your rising sign is Aquarius, Pisces is your 2nd House.
  • If your rising sign is Pisces, Pisces is your 1st House.

    Example

Neptune in Pisces and the 5th House

Neptune RX in the 5th house brings clarity and vision which is expressed through one's sense of creativity. Now is a good time to take up a new creative hobby or revisit an old one. You can channel this energy and creative vision into anything that is considered an "art" such as drawing, painting, sculpting, cooking, decorating, etc... The fifth house also rules over love and romance so if you've been idealizing your romantic partner (or even romantic relationships in general) then this could be a time when those rose-colored glasses come off and you see your partner for who or what they really are.

    Aspects

Aspects, or relationships between planets, should also be considered. For example. let us suppose that you have the Sun at 22° Virgo. Then that would mean that Transit Neptune at 20° Pisces is approaching an opposition to the Sun. An opposition is a type of aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet is pulling away from the energy or urge of another planets. These urges feel as if the other is doing something to do and each lacks the power to do anything about it.

When Neptune is in opposition to the Sun you have a hard time being yourself or you may have a hard time accepting some part of who you are. You may feel pressured by someone to be or act in a way that is difficult for you. You may feel victimized or have a harder time standing up for yourself or making decisions for yourself.

    Sun in Cancer 2020

    Sun in Cancer
    6/20/20        2:44 PM (Pacific)
    Natural Chart / Whole Houses

    Sun in Cancer (General)

When the Sun is in Cancer, people can be more emotional and those emotions are often closer to the surface. They can be moody, empathic, and sensitive. People are more caring and nurturing. They seek out a place of  safety and security and that place is often the home.  The house where the Sun falls in your chart natally represents the area of life where the Sun in Gemini will be felt.

    • If your rising sign is Aries, Cancer is your 4th House.
    • If your rising sign is Taurus, Cancer is your 3rd House.
    • If your rising sign is Gemini, Cancer is your 2nd House.
    • If your rising sign is Cancer, Cancer is your 1st House.
    • If your rising sign is Leo, Cancer is your 12th House.
    • If your rising sign is Virgo, Cancer is your 11th House.
    • If your rising sign is Libra, Cancer is your 10th House.
    • If your rising sign is Scorpio, Cancer is your 9th House.
    • If your rising sign is Sagittarius, Cancer is your 8th House.
    • If your rising sign is Capricorn, Cancer is your 7th House.
    • If your rising sign is Aquarius, Cancer is your 6th House.
    • If your rising sign is Pisces, Cancer is your 5th House.

    Example

Sun in Cancer and the 9th House

The Sun (I am) in Cancer (I feel) in the 9th house of spiritual growth, dream, education, higher ethics and long journeys can manifest as moody feelings about personal growth.  You're more honest with your feelings and you're more likely to share them with others.  You may get a little overwhelmed by daily life and seek to retreat to your home where you find more peace and harmony.  You're open to learning new things and meeting new people but prolonged expose to the unfamiliar may make you irritable so you keep such episodes short and more sporadic.

    Aspects

Aspects, or relationships between planets, are another dimension of astrological interpretation that should be considered. For example, let us suppose that you have Saturn at 3° Cancer, that would mean that the Transit Sun at 0° Cancer is forming a conjunction to your Natal Saturn at 3° Cancer. A conjunction is a type of aspect in which the energy or urge of one planet blends with the energy or urge of another planet and you can no longer tell them apart.

While the Sun represents your outer identity, Saturn represents the urge for discipline and structure. When these planets are in conjunction you are more disciplined, use your time more wisely, and are more in control of yourself.  You can be more of a hard worker now but should caution yourself against working too hard or you could suffer burn out.

    Ruler of the House

The Ruler of the House can also be considered. The Sun rules Leo so they entrance of the Sun into Cancer will have an affect on the area of life that Leo rules in your chart. For example, let us suppose that you have Leo in the 10th house in your Natal Chart, then this would mean that Cancer is your 9th House. This could be expressed as the Ruler of the 10th house in the 9th House.

To begin our interpretation of we might say that the activities of the 10th House serve the agenda of the 9th House OR "reputation, achievements, and the desire for recognition from others serves higher education, travel and meeting new and different people." We can then extrapolate on this statement by saying something like "you choose a profession that allows you to expand your horizons or which is in alignment with your faith. You may become an authority on a culture, religion or belief different from your own. Having a career or status gives your life meaning."

    New Moon in Cancer

    New Moon in Cancer
    June 20th 2020
    11:41 PM Pacific
    New Moons

A new moon occurs when both the Sun and the Moon occupy the same degree of the same sign of the zodiac at the same time. As you can see from the chart above the Sun and Moon both occupy 0° Cancer making this a new moon. New Moons bring new beginning and opportunities.

    New Moon in Cancer

When the New Moon is in Cancer, people are generally more moody and emotions run deeper than usual They may isolate themselves in familiar surroundings and/or with close family to reflect on their emotions and nurture themselves.  Alternately, they may concern themselves more with the feelings of others and act in a more nurturing and motherly way towards them. People can open up more easily to close friends and family.

Generally people may feel more domestic and find themselves engaging more in domestic activities such as cooking, cleaning, and making the home a place of peace, serenity, and solace.  Once should avoid overeating now as you might be apt to be more lazy and thus gain weight.  The intuition is more acute now and is felt through the emotions so your initial feelings and impressions about people and things should be give more weight as this time.

Simply stated, the New Moon in Cancer will give you the opportunity to nurture some aspect of your life. To discover what area that would be, we look to the house that Cancer occupies in your Natal Chart.

The House is Where it Happens

The Astrological House in which the New Moon occurs in your Natal Chart gives an indication of the area of life activated by the New Moon and where you can expect to see the energy of the New Moon in Cancer to play out. Since the June New Moon occurs in 0° Cancer, you would look at your Natal, or Birth Chart to ascertain in what House 0° Cancer occurs.

    2. Money and material matters.  Your physical environment, income, money, and your sense of self-esteem.

    Example

For example, let us say that your rising sign is Scorpio that would put the New Moon in your 9th house of expansion. With the New Moon in the 9th House you could be presented with opportunities to broaden your mind and expand your horizons. You could meet new people, do new things, explore new cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives.  You may feel more adventurous and daring. Spirituality may become more important to you, and you may re-visit your spiritual beliefs and practices. You may also get the opportunity to travel, if not, you can read about new and different places that appeal to you.

The Sun   - The urge to express our individuality, to create, or where we "shine".

Taurus - 7th House: You are practical to the core and are always the voice of reason. However, sometimes you have a tendency to dominate the people around you which can be a real turn off. You will find that the quality of your relationships will improve when you are able to compromise and allow your partner's star to shine as bright as your own.

The Moon  - The urge to feel secure, to nurture and be nurtured.

Leo - 10th House: You're something of a dramatist and often express your feelings and emotions with grand gestures. You have a great deal of pride and are fiercely loyal to others. You crave recognition and the spotlight and are drawn to any career which puts you in the public eye such as politics, or acting. You may find that you miss out on opportunities presented to you because you take too long to make a decision. You enjoy working with other people in a one-on-one setting or partnership, especially anyone with whom you share a mental rapport. Without that rapport, other people may quickly lose your interest or you could be argumentative to the point that you chase them away. A career in counseling, law or marketing would be ideal for you.

Venus  -  The urge to love and be loved.

Aries - 6th House:  You are a fervent lover who likes to keep things exciting. If your lover doesn't continually excite you, you can get bored and move on to someone else. You are witty, intelligent, and curious. You are stimulated by intellectual conversation and are well versed in many subjects. In fact, you can talk to just about anyone about almost anything. Your approach to money and finances is aggressive  and luckily for you, you usually profit from any financial risks that you take. You tend to be sexually aggressive as well and sex soothes your tensions. However, too much focus on sex can ruin your relationships.

    The Social Planets

These planets are further from the earth and the last one that can be seen with the naked eye. They represent themes with which we are confronted with in life but which rise above the individual experience.

Jupiter  -  The urge to grow and expand.

Cancer - 9th House: You have a kind and generous nature which is a testament to your good upbringing. You're very freehearted and are usually the first person to lend someone a hand when they need it and because of this you'll always find help when you find yourself in need. You most likely have a warm and inviting home. You love to cook for yourself and others and enjoy entertaining people at your home. At heart, you are a nurturer and caretaker of those around you. As much as you love home and family, you also love to travel, to go places and see new and different people, cultures, and things. You may write about your travels, adventures, and experiences or otherwise get involved in publishing in some way. No matter how far you travel, however, you will always come home to rest, re-charge, and regenerate so that you can ground yourself.

Saturn    -  The urge for order and structure.

Scorpio - 1st House:  You have an intense and passionate energy about you which you are able to channel into something positive, creative, and productive. You have a generous amount of sexual energy and interest and there is danger of going down the path of promiscuity. Your mission is to foster and nurture more intimacy and not to become vindictive when someone lets you down or hurts you. Holding grudges can lead to a personality obsessed with power or even addiction.  It is important to you that people like you and so you pay close attention to how you might be perceived by others. More importantly you want to be respected and taken seriously in life. Conflict arises within you when you are torn between just wanting to be yourself but not being able to do that because of the burden of other people's expectations and perceptions of you.

    The Generational Planets

These planets are the slowest moving and furthest out planets in our solar system. They cannot be seen with the naked eye. They represent the experiences of and effect generations of individuals.

Uranus   -  The Urge to rebel and have more freedom

Cancer - 9th House: You were born into a generation of people who rebelled against the norm in terms of the traditional family in some way. They made innovations in the area of family and home life. In the 9th House, Uranus brings the sudden and unexpected need to travel. You have a strong desire for travel, to see the world, to visit new places, meet new people, and experience new and different cultures.  If it is not possible for you to physically travel, then you might read about the places you would like to go or the cultures that you would like to experience and explore.  Your mind is open to non-traditional forms of religion, philosophy, or beliefs. In worse case scenarios this can lead to fanatical beliefs.

Neptune  - The urge to escape the mundane.

Libra - 12th House: Your generation holds a great deal of appreciation and idealism for art, justice, peace, and love. They are known as the "love generation" and popularized new ideas about love, relationships, and marriage.  This placement can also indicate someone who sacrifices their own wants, needs, and desires for love.  You have a tendency towards the mystical and may practice yoga, meditation, or some other spiritual pursuit. You are highly intuitive and time spent alone withdrawing into yourself to contemplate the big questions in life make you happy and content.  You may have an interest in working with charities or helping other people in some way.  When not properly developed, Neptune in the 12th house can bring an urge for escapism that includes the abuse of drugs or alcohol.

Pluto  - The urge for transformation and change

Leo - 10th House:  You were born into a generation of people who are concerned with obtaining and keeping power as well as the ability to freely express their creativity. They tap into their own dark side in order to create something powerful that makes others stand up and take notice. These people find inspiration in things that are forbidden and through their endeavors they challenge the notions of what makes something taboo or not. These are people that want to rise to the top, so they work harder and longer than other people in order to achieve power, fame, and recognition. The downside to this is that addiction to power and authority is possible if the personality is not well developed and the hunger for power is not held in check.

    Other Considerations

Chiron   - The urge to heal our wounds

Aquarius -4th House:  Your wound revolves around a feeling of not belonging where you are, being unfit, or being too different. You were likely forced by your parents, yourself, or your peers to attempt to fit into certain cultural, societal, or religious norms. Even then you may have not felt completely like yourself until you grew comfortable with and accepted yourself for who you are. People with Chiron in the 4th house often have to separate themselves from past traumas and find a place of healing through practicing self-care. As they evolve, they often become fierce protectors and nurturers of others. That is, they find healing through helping others in need.

North Node  - The Path to Growth

Sagittarius - 2nd House: You were born with a versatile and adaptable nature. You are curious and inquisitive about many different subjects and have a great deal of trivial knowledge in your head. You're a real "people person" and enjoy talking with others, sharing information, and gossiping. You have an interest in the spiritual and are passionate about anything that interests you. You especially love mysteries and may fancy yourself an amateur detective.

Yours is the path of the adventurer. For you, the way to growth involves getting out of your comfort zone, visiting foreign places, meeting people from different cultures and communities, and exploring ideas and beliefs different than your own. In this life you are to learn to be more self-reliant, to gather your own resources, and become more self-sufficient. Simply states, you are here to learn to live within your means, to develop gratitude for what you have, and live a more consistent and dependable life.

    Tightest Aspects.

Aspects represent the relationships between two planets. The tighter the aspect the stronger it will be felt in a person’s life or character.

    Tightest Soft Aspect

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus in the 9th House: Here the urge for expansion and freedom expresses itself in the area of higher learning, spiritual growth, and ethics. This gives you a generally positive outlook and the ability to look on the brighter side of things. You believe in the goodness of people and are a friend of humanity. When you think about the future, you tend think of good things coming to you or happening to you and this is usually the case (thinking it makes it so). Opportunities to travel, to learn new things, to have new and different experiences come to you suddenly and unexpectantly. Some sources say this aspect manifests as some kind of unusual physical appearance such as being very short or very tall.

    Tightest Hard Aspect

Hard aspects are considered more difficult and they represent flaws in your character and the potential for growth.

The Moon in the 10th House Square Saturn in the 1st House: Here the urge for the spotlight and attention is at odds with the desire to be liked and respected. You want people to like you but you often wonder if they would still like you if they really got to know you. This can lead to acute shyness and a lack of self-confidence. If the person cannot overcome this block they may suffer problems in their relationships, loneliness, depression, or socially awkward behavior. To overcome this aspect, one need only to become aware of this tendency and develop more self-assurance, self-acceptance, and self-esteem.

    Full Moon in Sagittarius 2020

    Full Moob in Sagittarius
    June 5th, 2020  12:12 PM PDT
    Whole House System

A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon occupy the same degree of opposite signs of the zodiac. As you can see from the chart above, the Moon is at 15° Sagittarius and the Sun is at 15° Gemini forming an opposition creating a dynamic of challenging one another; something is being split or divided.

    The Big Picture

Gemini is all about my vicinity, my neighborhood, my community, my culture. Sagittarius on the other hand is about foreign people and cultures. So there is a dynamic here of a divide between "us and them" or the "familiar vs. the unfamiliar". This is a dynamic that we will see play out in the world at large, and in our personal lives. We can see this dynamic play out by watching the news and seeing events take place in the lives of our friends and associations on social media.

As I write this blog entry, there are major demonstrations and rioting in major cities across America. These actions where sparked by an incident in Minneapolis, MN wherein a white police officer named Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd --- a black man who was allegedly accused of attempting to buy food with a counterfeit $20 bill. This incident has re-ignited the Black Lives Matter movement amidst the Covid 19 pandemic.  Here we see a general theme of the "familiar" vs. the "unfamiliar" or "us" vs. "them".

How to Work with Full Moon in Sagittarius Energy

    • Get out of your comfort zone
    • Practice being more honesty with yourself and others.
    • Be more independent (think and do for yourself!)
    • As much as you are able, engage in travel (even if it is an unfamiliar part of your city)
    • Explore a culture, religion, belief, or philosophy outside your own (respectfully)
    • Read up on a subject that you are interested in but have little knowledge of.
    • Try some "foreign" food.
    • Get some physical exercise; go for a walk, jog, or run
    • Take a risk
    • Adopt a more optimistic attitude about life.

    The Personal Touch

To understand how the Full Moon in Sagittarius will affect you, you need to look at where Sagittarius and Gemini fall in your natal chart.

    • If Aries is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 9th House.
    • If Taurus is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 8th House.
    • If Gemini is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 7th House.
    • If Cancer is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 6th House.
    • If Leo is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 5th House.
    • If Virgo is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 4th House.
    • If Libra is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 3rd House.
    • If Scorpio is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 2nd House.
    • If Sagittarius is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 1st House.
    • If Capricorn is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 12th House
    • If Pisces is your Ascendant, then Sagittarius is your 11th House.

For example, in my birth chart Sagittarius is in the second house of my resources and personal values and Gemini is in the 8th house of shared resources. Additionally, the 8th house is associated with transformation and change, while the 2nd house likes things to stay as they are. So for me there is a divide between my resources and resources shared with others; someone or something is trying to make me change but I want things to stay as they are.

The full moon makes a sextile to my natal Uranus bringing an openness to change softening that resistance to change stated above and can herald sudden exciting events and encounters with other people. The full moon often brings endings and completion and a full moon in the second house of finance can indicate paying off a debt or there being a danger of overspending. At any rate, this is a time when finances should be watched closely and any risky investments should be avoided.

Where does the full moon in Sagittarius fall in your chart and how will it manifest for you?

    Best Days June 2020

The Best Days was a feature in many old almanacs and gave the optimal times for performing such tasks as weaning a baby, pulling teeth, or planting by the signs.  Here I have taken this concept and applied it to the folk magic tradition of Hoodoo and given the best days for various magical endeavors. They are:
    • Love & Romance      1-4, 5, 13, 14, 23-27, 31
    • Crown of Success    2, 3, 4,  10-13, 20-23
    • Sex & Sexuality       1, 4, 6-8, 27, 28, 31
    • Cleansing                 2, 3, 20-23, 25, 26, 29, 30
    • Hotfooting                6, 17-21, 24,
    • Unblocking              7-9, 18, 19

Mercury Retrograde Dates June / July 2020

    • Pre-Shadow      6/01/20      9:51 PM        05° Cancer 30'
    • Retrograde        6/17/20      9:53 PM        14° Cancer 46'
    • Direct                7/12/20      1:21 AM       05° Cancer 30'
    • Post Shadow     7/26/20    10:09 AM       14° Cancer 46'

The Pre-Shadow is when we can begin to see Mercury start slowing down and this is where we will begin to feel the beginning of Mercury Retrograde. This period of time can be marked by errors in communication, travel, and electronics. These are just general events that usually occur during periods of Mercury Retrograde. The Sign or Signs that Mercury RX occurs in also influences events that occur during Mercury RX. The Pre-Shadow begins in Cancer and this is where people will generally begin to feel the walls closing in on their homes. They may feel stifled or suffocated inside their own homes and start thinking about making changes to improve their home by changing the look and feel of the place in which they live. This is a good period to sit down and brainstorm ideas, sketch out a plan, or start collecting images from magazines, newspapers, and the internet to create a new vision of your living space.

However, to figure out exactly how Mercury Retrograde will affect you on a personal, individual level, you will need to see what natal house your Cancer is in. The area of life represented by that house is the area of life that will most be affected by Mercury Retrograde. Essentially, those events that occur during the Pre-Shadow will frame your experiences during the retrograde phase. These experiences are believed to be necessary for our own personal growth and soul-evolvement. At the end of the Pre-Shadow, Mercury will come to a complete stop at 14° Cancer and sit there for a few days days before moving again.

The Retrograde period is when Mercury starts moving again, only from our perspective on Earth it will appear to be moving backwards across the zodiac. It is during this period that we will most strongly feel the effects of Mercury Retrograde. Generally speaking, we can expect communication, travel, and electronics to go all wonky on us. During Mercury Retrograde, we refrained from making any major decisions or changes. Instead we are told to RE-lax, RE-evaluate, and RE-assess our issues and conditions

Generally speaking in addition to feeling the urge to re-new, re-arrange, and re-model our living spaces Mercury Retrograde in Cancer can manifest as opportunities to explore how we nurture and heal ourselves and others. Cancer represents our mothers, so this is a good time to remember, reassess, and reevaluate our relationship with the parent who nurtured us (or didn't) in our childhood; as well as how we love and nurture ourselves and others in the here and now. We can now confront and heal childhood issues and make a course correction if we feel that we are repeating the mistakes of the past

There is a connection here between our immediate home environment and our emotional feelings and well being as several philosophies and beliefs support this connection. For example, in the practice of dream interpretation it is said the a house or home is a metaphor for your life in general. In addition, in the science and practice of Feng Shui it is believed that the manner in which our living spaces are arranged can have a direct impact on our lives and the things which happen to us. And in 2012 there was a TV show on Bravo called Interior Therapy that helped people confront and heal emotional blocks and issues by changing some aspect of their home and living space.

Again, to figure out exactly how Mercury Retrograde will affect you on a personal, individual level, you will need to see what natal house Cancer is in. The area of life represented by that house is the area of life that will most be affected by Mercury Retrograde. Towards the end of this retrograde period, Mercury will begin to slow down again before coming to a full stop at 5° Cancer It will set there for a few days before it starts moving forward again. Mercury is said to Station Direct when it starts moving forward again. This is the period when many people feel like they can start breathing again (metaphorically speaking). They hear Mercury Direct and think that its over. But that is not the case. Mercury Stationing Direct is really the beginning of the Post-Shadow period.

The Post-Shadow is the period between the time Mercury stations direct and it reaches the point where it initially began to slow down in the first place. It is characterized as a period in which those issues raised during Mercury Retrograde are still present but may be winding down, that is, they are still present but not as intense as before. During this post shadow phase is where we take what we learned during Mercury Retrograde and apply that knowledge to re-dress and re-solve those issues and conditions that were raised during Mercury Retrograde.
